The sale includes:

1.  Psychological Type in Clinical Practice: Understanding Yourself, Understanding Your Client.  Myers-Briggs Typology Workshop.

2 DVDs (5 hours).

“When we know our typological preferences, we are in a better position to understand our clients. Many transference and counter-transference phenomena can be better explained in terms of psychological type than in terms of psychopathology, complex discharge or personal history

2. “Why is there not nothing?”  Interrogation of Nothingness: Psyche’s response to the question: “why is there not nothing?

Presented by London-based Jungian analyst Josephine Evetts-Secker.

Questions explored include: what is there in the absence of all? What were we before our births and what do we return to after our deaths? Explored through the realms of prose, poetry and paradox.

3. Giovanni Segantini: Darkness – Yearning – Creative Fulfilment.

This lecture by Zurich-based Jungian analyst Kathrin Asper considers numerous paintings by Segantini for both their artistic and archetypal nature.

4. The Jung-White Letters – A Theatrical Performance and Discussion

Dominican theologian Fr Victor White entered into a deeply searching debate with Carl Jung that covered such topics as the problem of evil and the nature of God.

The 2 DVD set includes a 90 minute performance based on their correspondence and a 2 hour seminar with Zurich-based Jungian analyst Dr Murray Stein.

5. Psychopathology and Personality Type (see above, Myers Briggs etc)

This seminar explores the interface between innate personality type, early attachment and psychopathology.

Psychotherapists will be interested to learn how the lack of healthy attachment due to unrecognised type difference between parent and child can be a significant factor in the development of borderline personality disorder and other disorders of personality, mood and behaviour.

Psychotherapists Ron Johnson and Boris Matthews argue that affirming the client in their innate psychological type preference is the first step toward repairing the attachment deficit, while gradually working on more appropriate utilisation of the introverted and extroverted attitudes and other functions.
