Dr Janina Fisher lectures internationally on the integration of neurobiological research and new trauma treatment paradigms into traditional psychotherapies.
With a background in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Dr Fisher is a Clinical Psychologist and Instructor at the Trauma Center founded by Bessel van der Kolk. She also has her own private practice and is in much demand as a consultant.
Dr Fisher is a faculty member of the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute and an EMDR International Association consultant. She has previously taught at the Harvard Medical School, as well as being past President of the New England Society for the Treatment of Trauma and Dissociation.
