City-based Jungian Psychoanalyst

Catherine Cox’s approach is rooted in the Jungian tradition, in which she completed a rigorous 5 year post-graduate training. Her work with survivors of trauma has led her also to integrate sensorimotor psychotherapy techniques and EMDR where appropriate.

As an accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Catherine is bound by its Code of Professional Ethics as well as by the Code of Ethics of the Guild of Analytical Psychologists (G.A.P.) (previously the Guild of Analytical Psychology and Spirituality), of which she is also a member.

She is also a member of both the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD) and the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation (ESTD) as well as the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).

In addition to her psychotherapy practice, Catherine assists on Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute trauma trainings (Levels I and II). She also provides clinical supervision.

She has full professional liability insurance.
