Beyond the Brain IX Conference organised by The Scientific and Medical Network in association with The Royal College of Psychiatrists Spirituality and Psychiatry Group.
Speakers include Dr Iain McGilchrest (Erasmus or Machiavelli: Empathy and the Brain), Geshe Tashi Tsering (The Spirit of Compassion in Tibetan Buddhism), Prof Paul Gilbert (Benefits and Fears of Compassion: future directions in compassion research), Karen Armstrong (The Charter for Compassion: Wishing for a better world) and Dr Valeria Gazzola (Mirror Neurones: the Role of the Motor and Somatosensory system in Social Perception).
