Is mental illness ever a gift?

This is the theme for the 7.25pm slot this week on Channel 4

On Friday 22nd July at 7.25pm sharp Melanie Goodwin will be appearing on 4thought.tv.

The programme, immediately after the Channel 4 News, will last for 2 minutes only.

In the programme Melanie explains why she believes her Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) has allowed her to live a full life despite her traumatic childhood.

There will be an on-line discussion afterwards. The programme will be available on-line for a few days after screening.

Melanie Goodwin is the chairperson of First Person Plural, the survivor-led charity for those living with dissociative disorders. She was involved in the production of the DVD on DID, A Logical Way of Being. Click here for more information.
