Image and Imagination

Image and Imagination

A series of conversations and explorations.

Starting Saturday 8th October 10.30am to 12-15pm at Worlds End Studios in London.

The first presentation will be by London-based psychotherapist Nicholas Pearson who has a deep interest in the Sufi Tradition of Islam.

Nicholas explains that it is from the acute psychological insight of this tradition that the inspiration, direction and style of his therapeutic work springs.

His talk will explore practical aspects of working with the imagination as it arises in our inner world. Nicholas will relate aspects and stories from his practice demonstrating the real and lasting change brought about in his clients.

At the age of nearly 60 Nicholas trained as a psychotherapist with the Psychosynthesis and Education Trust. Prior to this he served in the armed forces and politics as well as working in international trade and finance. He was also for many years Chairman of the Temenos Academy.

The leader of the series is Guislaine Vincent Morland, a London-based Analytical Psychotherapist (Jungian) whose interest lies in the visual as ‘code’ and ‘translation’ of the ineffable.

There will be an opportunity for discussion, questions and exchange of the experience of working with the invisible, of idea and image realising form.
